Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine are among the nine essential amino acids for humans, make up approximately one third of skeletal muscle in the human body and play an important role in protein synthesis.
When adequate amounts of BCAA’s are ingested post-workout, the body is placed in a greater state of hypertrophy with a positive amount of protein synthesis. This is extremely important for athletes because it will decrease recovery time as it increases the rate at which lean body mass is gained. Our ratio is designed to release specific amounts of each amino acid both before and after a workout.
During exercise it is common to consume Branch Chain Amino Acids combined with a fast-release carbohydrate such as Dextrose or Maltodextrin. This is designed to prevent fatigue and thus improve athletic performance. BCAAs also stack well with L-Glutamine

Pour 250ml/300ml of water or fruit juice into a Vantage Shaker first! Then add 6g of BCAA powder and shake vigarously. Leave to settle for approx. 10 minutes and shake again. This will allow the Leucine to absorb, there may be slight residue on the surface but this is fine to consume and will disolve the longer its left.
The best times to take BCAAs are 30-45 minutes before exercise, during exercise and immediately after exercise. Typical recommended dose is 2-4 times per day.
